APRIL
ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunoassay for the quantitative
determination of APRIL with high sensitivity and specificity in serum, plasma
or CSF.
Kit
Performance
- Sensitivity: 30 pg/mL
- Assay Range: 30 – 1500 pg/mL
- Cross-reactivity: There is no
cross reaction with native immunoglobulins
- Recovery rate: 80 – 120% with
normal human serum, plasma or CSF samples with known concentrations.
- Precision
(CV
(%) = SD/mean X 100)
- Intra-Assay: CV < 20%

Supplementary
information
APRIL
(A Proliferation-Inducing Ligand), also known as TNFSF13, is a cytokine in the
tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily that regulates B-cell survival,
proliferation, and antibody production. It primarily signals through the
receptors TACI (TNFRSF13B) and BCMA (TNFRSF17).
APRIL
is produced by monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, T cells, neutrophils,
and some tumor cells. Elevated APRIL levels are associated with autoimmune
diseases (e.g., systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis) and B-cell
malignancies such as multiple myeloma and lymphoma.
