This monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes the C-terminal domain of IGFBP-4.

IGFBP-4 is a 237-amino-acid protein composed of:

• N-terminal region (1–90 aa) 

• Central linker region (91–150 aa) 

• C-terminal region (151–237 aa) 

Antibodies directed against terminal fragments may show reduced affinity compared with full-length-binding antibodies.

Recommended two-step approach for efficient C-terminal isolation:

1. Use a full-length IGFBP-4 monoclonal antibody (Cat. No. IG4-FL-002) to capture and elute intact IGFBP-4. 

2. Use this C-terminal antibody (Cat. No. IG4-CT-004) to selectively capture the C-terminal fragment.
