This monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes the N-terminal domain of IGFBP-4.

IGFBP-4 contains 237 amino acids divided into three regions:

• N-terminal (1–90 aa) 

• Central linker region (91–150 aa) 

• C-terminal (151–237 aa) 

Antibodies targeting isolated N- or C- terminal domains may exhibit lower binding affinity compared with antibodies recognizing full-length IGFBP-4.

Recommended two-step approach for efficient N-terminal isolation:

1. Use a full-length IGFBP-4 monoclonal antibody (Cat. No: IG4-FL-001) to capture and elute intact IGFBP-4. 

2. Apply this N-terminal antibody (Cat. No: IG4-NT-003) to selectively capture the N-terminal fragment.
